UEFA set up pots before the draw for Euro 2012 qualifiers

UEFA announced the allocation of national teams in pots that will be drawn for qualification to Euro 2012, which will take place in Poland and Ukraine. Drawing ceremony will be held on 7 February 2010 in the Congress Hall in Warsaw.

This time the new rules already applied in the distribution of the pots. The rating incorporates the results of the elimination of the World Cup 2006, Euro 2008 and 2010 World Cup finals and World Cup 2006 and Euro 2008 (previously ranking only includes eliminations). Poland and Ukraine as hosts of the tournament have guaranteed participation in Euro 2012.
