On Saturday in Ukraine was opened a second Euro 2012 stadium. The modernization of stadiums in Kharkov was ended. The first Euro 2012 stadium is the Donbas-Arena in Donetsk.
The highest authorities of Ukraine: President Viktor Yushchenko and Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, were present at the opening of the stadium.
Modernization of the facility cost a total of 365 million hryvnia (about 31 million euros). 250 million are government grants, and about 100 million is a contribution Oleksandr Yaroslavsky.
It is not known for sure yet whether the stadium will be one of four nominated for Euro 2012, UEFA's decision in this case will be announced on 11 December.
