UEFA has chosen the city for Euro 2012
Sitting in Funchal in Madeira UEFA Executive Committee has selected cities in Ukraine, which will be hosting matches during EURO 2012. Selected cities are Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Lviv. Final match will be played in Kiev and the opening match in Warsaw.
Ukrainian cities Joined previously choosen Polish cities of Warsaw, Gdansk, Poznan and Wroclaw, which grant the right to organize ealier. Ukraine has already finished building two of four Euro 2012 stadiums, Metalist Kharkiv stadium was modernized and the construction of Donbass Arena in Donetsk was finished.
Zbigniew Boniek and Andriy Shevchenko were choosen as ambassadors of the tournament. Andrew Szarmach and Oleg Blokhin will lead the drawing ceremony, which take place in Warsam idnJanuary 2010.
