Euro 2012: Platini warns Ukraine
UEFA President Michel Platini has once again warned Ukraine that the progress of preparations for Euro 2012 is very bleak. Platini has threatened that if Kiev does not accelerate the construction of the stadium Ukraine will say goodbye to Euro 2012.
It is possible the tournament will be played in four cities in Poland and two in Ukraine, but among them must be Kiev. The worst delays in the preparations are in Lviv and Kiev. Delays in both cities are about five months. Despiteof it UEFA is not considering a transfer to another country.
Platini in the coming days plans to visit Kiev and to meet with the new president Viktor Yanukovych to discuss the situation of preparations for Euro 2012.
